In a peaceful meadow filled with colorful wildflowers, lived Ellie the elephant and Sammy the squirrel. Though they were very different sizes, they had become the best of friends. Ellie was gentle and strong, while Sammy was quick and clever.

One morning, Ellie and Sammy noticed that their beloved meadow looked different. The flowers were drooping, and the grass was turning brown. 'Oh no!' squeaked Sammy. 'Our beautiful home needs help!' Ellie trumpeted softly, 'Don't worry, little friend. Together we can figure this out.'

Sammy scurried up to the top of a tall tree to get a better view. 'Ellie!' he called down. 'I can see a blocked stream over there!' The little squirrel was too small to move the big rocks, and Ellie was too big to squeeze through the narrow spaces. But together, they had a plan!

Sammy climbed onto Ellie's back and guided her to exactly the right spots. 'A little to the left... now push that big rock!' directed Sammy. Ellie used her strong trunk to carefully move each boulder. Working as a team, they cleared the stream in no time!

As the clear water flowed back into the meadow, the flowers began to perk up and the grass turned green again. Ellie and Sammy watched with joy as their home became beautiful once more. 'We did it!' cheered Sammy. 'Yes,' said Ellie with a happy rumble, 'friendship makes us stronger than we ever imagined!'
