Deep in the crystal blue ocean lived Willow the whale, who loved to sing beautiful songs that echoed through the water. One day, she met Toby the turtle, who was very old and wise. 'What makes the ocean glow at night?' Willow wondered aloud.

Toby smiled with his wise eyes twinkling. 'Ah, young Willow, that's one of the ocean's most magical secrets! Would you like to discover it together?' Willow's heart filled with excitement. 'Yes please!' she sang. Toby began swimming toward the deeper parts of the ocean.

As they swam deeper, tiny lights began to twinkle all around them like underwater stars! 'These are called bioluminescent plankton,' explained Toby. 'They're tiny living creatures that make their own light!' Willow gasped in wonder. 'How do they do that?' she asked, gently moving through the glowing water.

Toby explained how the tiny plankton use special chemicals in their bodies to create light, just like fireflies do in the air. Willow tried singing a gentle note, and amazingly, the plankton glowed brighter! 'Music makes them happy too!' she discovered with delight.

Willow and Toby spent the rest of the day discovering more ocean wonders - glowing jellyfish, shimmering fish scales, and even algae that sparkled! 'The ocean is like a giant science book,' said Willow happily. 'And the best way to read it is by asking questions and exploring!' agreed Toby. 'Curiosity is the key to all great discoveries!'
